What is a urgoynaecologist?

A Urogynaecologist is a doctor who has completed training in obstetrics and gynaecology but has gone on to complete an additional three-year fellowship dedicated to pelvic floor problems. The urogynaecology fellowship provides the best training in Australia to treat complex problems such as pelvic organ prolapse and female urinary incontinence.

Do I need a referral to see Dr Alexander?

I have chosen to have surgery. What do I need to do to prepare for it?

You can make an appointment to see Dr Alexander without a referral, but to receive a medicare rebate, you will require a referral from another doctor.

Where can I see Dr Alexander?

Surgery can feel scary but Dr Alexander will provide information about what to do and what to expect. If you have any questions, please call the rooms and Dr Alexander will help clarify any questions or concerns that you may have.

Dr Alexander has rooms conveniently located in St Leonards (North Shore Private Hospital) and Wahroonga (SAN Parkway- opposite the SAN).
